Last Sunday, July 3, 2022, was a day of family fun and sun as members of VMY Greece joined the rest of the Miraculous Medal Center (MMC) Community for the Catechetical Day 2022. The event was the culminating activity of the MMC for the Pastoral Year 2021-2022.

 

Packed inside 2 Pullman buses and a more than an hour travel from the Athens city center, the Catechetical Day was held at the Marist Brothers open vicinity in Lavrio.

Arriving at the venue, families and children alike beat the summer heat and enjoyed a cool deep dive into the nearby rocky and pebbled beach and later on had their stomach-fill with their packed lunches.

Afterwards, VMY Greece members facilitated a bible trivia quiz and fun games for the children which drew giggles and laughter to everyone. Give-away tokens, miraculous medals and certificates were then handed out to all the participants of the day putting smiles on everyone’s faces as they returned to their respective homes.
